GLOPEX / SPECIALIST FINANCE ENQUIRIES

Invoice finance

Discuss whether unpaid business invoices could support a working-capital facility. The starting point is your sales ledger, customer base and the way your business invoices and collects payment.

Discuss your requirement ↗

Understand the receivables.

For an initial enquiry, describe what your business sells, who it sells to, the average payment terms and the approximate value of outstanding invoices. Mention overdue or disputed invoices and whether sales are domestic or overseas.

Explain the cash-flow requirement.

Tell us whether you want ongoing support against eligible invoices or help with a specific funding requirement. Include existing invoice-finance arrangements or other security over the business, so any restrictions can be discussed.

Compare the facility as a whole.

Ask which invoices qualify, how the available amount is calculated, all service and funding charges, minimum fees, contract length and termination conditions. Clarify who handles collections, whether customers are notified and what happens if a customer pays late or does not pay.

UK, USA, Canada and UAE enquiries.

GLOPEX welcomes international enquiries. Select your country and tell us where the borrower and asset are located. A service described on this website is not necessarily available in every jurisdiction; we review the relevant market before discussing a potential route.

Your questions, answered.

Will every invoice be eligible?

Not necessarily. Eligibility depends on the lender, customer, payment terms, disputes and other facility conditions.

Is invoice finance the same as a fixed business loan?

No. An invoice-finance facility is linked to eligible receivables and its terms. The available funding and charges can vary with the invoices and facility structure.
