GLOPEX / SPECIALIST FINANCE ENQUIRIES
Refinance enquiries
Review a potential refinance around your objective: replacing existing borrowing, changing the repayment structure or exploring additional capital. We start with what is already owed and the costs of changing it.
Set out the existing position.
Tell us what the borrowing is secured against, the outstanding balance, current lender, repayment terms and any maturity date. Include an estimated asset value and whether there are other charges, guarantees or facilities that affect the transaction.
Explain the change you want.
Your priority might be a different term, a planned exit from short-term borrowing or additional funds for a defined purpose. State the amount of new cash required separately from the amount needed to repay existing debt, so the two can be assessed clearly.
Compare net proceeds and total cost.
Ask for a breakdown of the proposed advance, existing-debt repayment, exit charges, arrangement costs, legal and valuation fees, and the net funds left over. A lower monthly payment can reflect a longer term; compare the full repayment obligation before making a decision.
UK, USA, Canada and UAE enquiries.
GLOPEX welcomes international enquiries. Select your country and tell us where the borrower and asset are located. A service described on this website is not necessarily available in every jurisdiction; we review the relevant market before discussing a potential route.
Your questions, answered.
Will refinancing release cash?
Not always. Existing debt, fees, valuation, affordability and lender criteria can reduce or eliminate the amount left over. A specific breakdown is needed.
Can I enquire before my current facility ends?
Yes. Include the maturity date, any early-repayment conditions and your desired timetable. This helps establish what needs to be considered.
